1929 Bentley Big 6 upgraded to speed 6 specs., Recently fully restored, original engine to chassis and body.

This fine Bentley Motorcar was delivered in April of 1927 to a Mr. S.E. Parkes of the United Kingdom. Fitted with custom coach work by the Surbition Carriage Company. Wonderfully low and aggressive styling as a 2 door fixed head coupe with large sunroof and louvered side valances. Other features included being constructed in the lightweight manner of fabric body panels and with dual side mounts and bucket sport seating.

This motorcar is rare in that it is one of an increasing few Vintage Bentleys that have retained their original coachwork. There are a few reasons for this, one being that car is of sporting design and the other was the fact that the car was in the Manx Motor Museum for many years before being transferred to the Isle of Man Museum. At some point in the 1980s the car made its way to the US, where it was used in still original condition.

The motorcar today is wonderfully restored finished in Black fabric coachwork as per original, black hood and fenders and complemented with a hunter green leather interior.
